Question
If I enable a footer in GMS Mail with my Unix OS, it creates a file footer.txt
but SMTP tries to load Footer.txt and so the SMTP service fails to start.
Answer
This is an issue with case sensitivity on Unix systems. The footer was
being written to a file called footer.txt but the database was set to call
a file called Footer.txt.
This case sensitivity has now been removed so that the footer.txt file is
always correctly found.
