Where is the mailertable?

Answer

The mailertable is a sendmail configuration file which contains rules which define where email should be sent for particular domains. For example, you could ask for all email to “abc.com” to be sent to a particular IP address.

GMS’s equivalent file is the postservers.txt. It is recommended that this file is changed via the GMS GUI. If you change the file directly, you will need to stop and restart the post service in order for the changes to take effect.

NOTE: GMS’s postservers.txt has many additional options not available in sendmail’s mailertable. For example, the ability to define ETRN passwords.
