What is the difference between Calendaring and Scheduling?

Answer

Calendaring allows you to enter events on specific dates (e.g. I’m going to the dentist on Friday). Up to two alarms can be added to the events to remind you of when they are going to take place.

Scheduling allows you to say "I want to hold a meeting with A, B, C and D. What time are all these people free?". Scheduling then helps by automatically emailing all the members, maintaining an "agenda" that they can
all read, and processing responses from each attendee.

GMS provides its own Internet Free/Busy publishing server to allow events to be scheduled with all users on a GMS server.
