What is an OR (Observation Report)?

Answer

An OR or Observation Report is a formal written request to development for something to be implemented or changed in the code. These requests may be for fixes to the software to correct something that is not working as expected; they may be for additional functionality to be added to an existing module; they may be for completely new functionality to be added into one or more of the products.

Each OR has a unique number assigned to it when it is checked in to the system. Every OR goes through many stages that vary in length before being included in the final product.
