Archives of postings can be kept so that members are able refer to earlier postings to a list. A member can, for example, look at archived postings for dates before they joined the list. You could also allow prospective members to view these archives to see if they want to join the list.
List postings can be archived in either HTML or MML formats or to an ODBC database.
