What is alert 8412?


A user has made a request to change their password but when GMS requested a change of password, the operating system refused with an error. When GMS attempted to get the name of the Domain Controller the operating system indicated that the information was not available.

In this case, GMS was attempting to get the name of the Domain Controller Undefined in order set the password for the account Undefined@Undefined and the operating system responded with the error code Undefined.
