What is alert 8078?

Answer

A remote system has attempted to start a secure connection with GMS by issuing the ESMTP command STARTTLS. The remote system did not comply with the Internet Standard for SSMTP so GMS has issued a Syntax Error to the remote server/client.

In this case, thread Undefined was processing a connection from Undefined which gave the command

 Undefined

GMS Secure Socket Layer responded with

 Undefined

In order to resolve this you will need to contact the administrator of Undefined and ask them to contact their vendor to ensure that their system is Internet Standard compliant.
