GMS List Server and GMS Communication Server automatically manages a list of email addresses. Users send commands to the list
manager and it will read the commands in the mail message and carry out the actions. So, for
example, you can send a command to the list manager asking to join a list. A list server is
typically used for discussion among a small number of people (say 100), a question forum (say
1000 people) or for product updates (which could be many hundreds of thousands of people).
To mail a message to everyone who is a member of the list, you simply mail to the list name.
Then the list manager will
recognize that the mail should go to everyone and create a mail message for each person on the
list.
