What is a Domain Base Profile?

Answer

A domain base profile is available to both system and domain administrators. They may use it to apply account settings to users within that domain only, these settings will then be the default settings for that domain. User profiles may be set up to modify the settings imposed at the domain level. The domain administrator may not exceed any of the settings imposed by the System Base Profile.
