What happens when I report a Zero-Hour false positive?

Question

I can see the option to report a false positive in my “Quarantine” report in the interface. I know this is used for when the Zero-Hour checks block a mail which was not SPAM, but what process is involved when I press the report false positive button?

Answer

When you press the “False Positive” button, the entire message is transmitted to the online detection center, where it is marked for manual checking.

When the message has been manually checked, if it is confirmed as a false positive, the message status will be updated for all the detection centers, and future copies of the message will be permitted to be delivered without problems.
