When trying to send email I get an error message – “553 – You are not allowed to send email via this server”. What causes this.
Answer
This error is related to the “Local Clients” feature in Anti-spam. This feature is designed to allow you to control who can send mail via GMS using your domain name as a sender.
This feature can be disabled or enabled through the Anti-spam->Connect->Local Clients section of the admin interface.
