Trouble sending mail to local users through web interface

Question

Users can not send mail to themselves, or other users in the same domain through the web interface.

Answer

The web interface connects to the loop back address (127.0.0.1) in order to send SMTP Email. GMS Anti-Spam allows you to specify what IP ranges may send mail through the server on a domain by domain basis.

In GMS Anti-Spam, in Connect > Local Clients, it is important to specify 127.0.0.1 in the list of IP addresses permitted to send mail through the domain.

If 127.0.0.1 is not specified, users using the web interface will recieve 500 error messages from when trying to send to local users.
