Symptoms
Outlook keeps downloading the same message from the WorkgroupMail server.
Cause
This can be caused by a bug in Outlook XP (2002) when a mail account is configured to ‘Leave a Copy of Messages on the server’. If two messages exist in the users’ mailbox with the same message ID (ie. there are two copies of the same message) then Outlook will repeatedly download one of the messages each time it connects to WorkgroupMail.
Resolution
Make sure that you are running the latest release of WorkgroupMail v7 More info
Delete one of the duplicate messages from the Incoming Queue in the WorkgroupMail Administrator.
Remove the ‘Leave a Copy of Messages on the server’ setting.
