Question
Newer Microsoft Operating Systems do not include a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). If this is the case it may not be possible to download a JVM from Microsoft either.
You currently require a JVM be installed on your PC in order to either administer GMS or use GMS Webmail Professional. You do not require a JVM in order to use GMS Webmail Express or Mobile.
Answer
GMS supports the JVM’s supplied by both Microsoft and Sun Microsystems. Either may be used and both will work equally well.
If you do not currently have a JVM installed on your PC or server then you may read about the options available to you at the following location http://java-virtual-machine.net.
You can download copies of both the JVM’s supported by GMS from the following location http://java-virtual-machine.net/download.html
