My password is not being recognised
I have just upgraded to the latest version and my password is no longer being recognised.
There are several reasons that your password may not be recognised:
- You have mis-typed your password.
- The password is case sensitive. That is “aBc” and “ABC” are different passwords.
- You have just upgraded to version 6 of Gordano Products.
Some passwords from version 2 of GMS Mail could not be updated to version 6 of GMS Mail. In order to correct the problem, you will need to either (a) re-enter the password from the configuration interface; or (b) use the registry (this is not recommended) to change the “%” character to a “*” character at the beginning of the password for the affected user.
