I have a user on my local server who has moved elsewhere, I would like to be able to forward all of his existing mail on to him.
Answer
The only way to forward a users mail on to another account is to log into that account with a mail client and forward the mail on using the facilities of that client.
There are also utilities such as Fetchmail that can log into a mailbox, collect all of the mail and automatically forward this mail on via SMTP to a given address.
