Question
The version 3 GMS Mail license is based on the name of the computer that it is running on. Version 4 and later of GMS Mail are not affected by the change of machine name or IP address.
Answer
Yes, if the computer name changes, you will need to get a new key. In order
to get a new key you should email the person you purchased the key from
and include their reference number (e.g. NT4444, QS8394) and the new name
of the machine. In addition, you should give an undertaking to destroy the
old key once the new machine has been installed and is working. You will need to pay an administration charge of 100 sterling (plus Tax if in the UK).
