I have changed the IP address of my server but GMS doesn't seem to have acknowledged this change.

Question

Having added a new IP address to the server’s network adapter interface, what do I need to do in GMS for it to bind its services to the new IP?

Answer

Firstly, attempt to access the GMS web administration interface directly from the server by using the 127.0.0.1 loop back address. So, http://127.0.0.1:8000

If the page is successfully returned, login and navigate to "Mail > Incoming > Connections".

If "Use all IP addresses" is specified, you will need to go to "Mail > Domains > Edit Domains" to make sure the new IP is referenced here.

If either "Use specified IP addresses" or "Use IP Connection File" is used, press "Configure" to proceed to the next page. It is here that you are likely to see multiple instances of the old IP address. You will need to manually change the old IP to the new one. When complete, please either restart all Gordano services or reboot the machine.
