My users are complaining that they are logged off from GMS Webmail too quickly. How do I change the session timeout period to prevent this from happening?
Answer
You can increase the GMS Webmail session timeout from the Security->Connections section of the administration interface. The default timeout period is 10 minutes but this can be extended to 240 minutes (4 hours).
There is an obvious security implication of using this maximum setting. If you are away from your desk your entire mailbox is accessible.
