Multiple Share menu items exist under the Tools menu it Outlook
Cause
These additional Share menu items are usually caused by an add-in conflict within Outlook.
Detail
- Please ensure that you are running the latest release of WorkgroupShare. Click Can I upgrade to the latest release of WorkgroupShare, and if so, how? to check for the latest available release.
- If using Outlook 2000 please ensure that it is at Service Pack 3 or above. Click Help, About… to check that the version is at least Outlook 2000 (9.0.0.6627) SP3.
- For all versions of Outlook click here to Resolve Add-In conflicts in Outlook. Restart Outlook.
- Remove all Share menu items as follows. Click Tools, Customize. Ignore the Customize window that has opened and click once more on the Tools menu at the top of the window. Select each Share menu item in turn and click and drag it off the Tools menu onto a blank part of the screen. When you release the mouse button the Share menu item will disappear. Close the Customize window and restart Outlook.
