I have performed the Fragmented message vulnerability test (for Outlook Express) from the GFI security website which indicates that my server is not protected. How do I protect against this type of message?
Answer
To prevent fragmented messages being delivered to your system, you need to apply one of the following:
If you are running a version of GMS earlier than build 3075, you need to add an entry to your Restricted words file in the following format:
message/partial
If you are running build 3075 of GMS or higher, you can use the inbuilt message quality checks to block these messages.
