I have been using MS Outlook for some time using personal folders (a pst file) to store my information such as tasks and contacts. I have recently started using GMS Collaboration and would like to know how to get the information from the old store into the new one so that I can synchronize the information with the GMS server.
This is fairly straight forward to accomplish. Simply edit your account settings and ensure that your old Personal Folders File (.pst) is available along with GMS Server for storage of items.
Once both the Personal Folder and the GMS Server option are available in the tree within MS Outlook simply drag the required items from your Personal Folders to the appropriate location under the GMS Server tree.
Once you have safely moved all the required information the Personal Folders item can be removed.
All of the information under the GMS Server tree will be automatically synchronized with the server.
