How do I configure the Eudora mail client to work with WorkgroupMail?

To configure Eudora for WorkgroupMail, do as follows:

Firstly create a new mail account. Do this by viewing the Personalities tab in the left-hand window, then right click and select New….

In the Account Settings wizard, select Create a brand new e-mail account. Press Next. Enter the user’s name into the Personality Name field. Press Next. In the Personal Information page, enter the display name of the user, as you wish it to appear in the sender address in outgoing messages. Press Next. In the Email Address page, enter the user’s e-mail address.

Press Next. In the Login Page, enter the user’s Local POP3 Login Name. You can find out the local POP3 login name and password for a particular user by selecting that user in the left-hand window of the WorkgroupMail administrator and viewing the relevant information in the right-hand window.

Press Next. In the Incoming Email Server page, enter the IP address of the computer which runs WorkgroupMail. Ensure that the POP radio button is selected. Press Next. In the Outgoing Email Server page, again enter the IP address of the computer which runs WorkgroupMail. Untick the Allow Authentication tick box. Press Next and then press Finish.

When doing a send and receive you will need to enter your mailbox password. This is the same as your local POP3 password. You can find out the local POP3 password for a particular user by selecting that user in the left-hand window of the WorkgroupMail administrator and viewing the relevant information in the right-hand window.

You can set the password by selecting Special | Change Password.

You can set a check for mail schedule by selecting Tools | Options… / Checking Mail

You can set a send new mail schedule in Tools | Options / Sending Mail
