How do I remove GMS (version 4 onwards) from my computer?

Answer

Windows Platform

Run the uninstall program under Start menu, Programs>Gordano. (Note: If the uninstaller says "Please contact program vendor", then you may require an update to the MFC42.DLL. This is available from ftp.gordano.com/options.)

If you are not using any other products from Gordano (e.g. MAILTO.DLL, CFX Tags, etc.) you can remove the key from the registry. In order to do this, start Regedt32, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>software>InternetShopper and delete this directory.

UNIX Platform

From a terminal window change to opt/gordano/opt/bin folder and type ./uninstall. You will be prompted to confim the uninstallation process by typing ./uninstall now.

If you are not using any other Gordano products you will also need to remove two additional files. Change to opt/gordano/mail and run the following:

rm .key

rm .key.reg
