I have a PDA, which I use to read my email via webmail. Typing in my username and password can be time consuming. Is it possible to logon automatically using a shortcut?

Yes, you can log on automatically to the webmail interface from a PDA. You simply need to add a link in your browser’s “favourites” listing in the following format:
http://server.address:8000/wmx/index.mml?&username=user&password=pass&action=login
For the link above to work, you would need to replace;
- server.address with the address of your server, either IP address or “A NAME” in DNS.
- :8000 with the port that the Webmail interface is accessed on.
- user with your username
- pass with your password
Having entered your specific details, going to the page in your favourites will result in you being automatically logged on to your mailbox.
