AutoDial does not dial out or connect

Question

AutoDial does not dial out or connect to my ISP. When I look on the Schedule page of the CPL and click on a schedule, the ‘Go Now’ button stays greyed.

Answer

This entry refers to version 3 of GMS Mail only.
Autodial has been included in version 4 and later of GMS Mail.

Using the Systems CPL on the Control Panel, make sure that the ‘Email Gateway’ and ‘RAS’ services are running.

You can set them to start automatically from here with the ‘Startup’ options button.
