Answer
GMS provides protection from malicious external mails in several ways.
Within the GMS Mail module, the Mail > Security section provides several sections dealing with ways to protect your server from malicious attack. Some of these methods include limiting the number of incoming connections from any single IP at the same time, limiting the number of bad commands the server will accept before disconnecting, limiting which IPs are able to access the admin and GMS Webmail interfaces, and more.
GMS Mail also offers protection from attacks from specific IPs or email addresses through the Incoming > Redirect page.
With the GMS Anti-Spam module, there are a large number of options available to block possible attacks including AI (Artificial Intelligence), reverse name and IP lookups, links in to RBL (Realtime Blackhole List) servers, attachment blocking and more.
With GMS Anti-Virus the server can remain protected from trojans and other virus codes which enable an open back door to servers when executed.
